A few weeks ago I bought a bottle of Rosehip Oil from Eden’s Semilla, just on a whim as I had recently heard from a friend that it was good for your skin. I was doing a review of their Jojoba oil and loved the results so I thought let’s give this Rosehip a try. Up till then, I knew nothing about Rosehip oil. I have been using it on my face daily in the mornings and evenings as a moisturizer and then I rub the left over on the ends of my hair. I have seen a good change in my hydration levels on my cheeks and forehead. My fine lines have tightened up and are not as noticeable. The sun this summer was hard on my face, a lot more wrinkles, sunspots, freckles and in general overall aged look. I was really aware of my sunscreen usage this summer and wore a hat all the time. I spent most of the year working on repairing years of sun damage on my face. I think I might be just picky now this fall because I am closely aware of every mark on my face from all the work that past ten months.
My mission for this month is to get as much moisture back into the layers of my skin as possible, then back to repair serums to help with the sun spots. Then on to age repair and anti-age prevention measures. And I have to say tho I am very proud of my water intake! I drink 3 liters of water a day now and I feel wonderful for it. Amazing the simple benefits of our life juice H2O ! Went to the doctor today and he says I am down 25lbs from this time last year. He asked me what have I been doing different I couldn’t think of anything except for the water drinking. He was very pleased and said keep it up, its showing good results.
Back to the Rosehip Oil I am so pleased I decided to give it a try. My skin soaks up it right away and does not leave a greasy mess like coconut oil does. I love my coconut oil for sure but this is a nice change of routine and it smells nice, a slight smell of roses which is lovely before bed.
